Tuesday, June 18th

1:05am: While conducting Business Door Checks, an officer located an Open Door at 1108 North Elm Street. The business was secured by the officer.

5:46am: An officer assisted a deputy with an Assault called in from 1295 Orchard Ave.

8:18am: Information was provided to an officer about a possible Attempted Burglary to a local business overnight. The officer is investigating.

2:25pm: Craig Kinsey caught a stray dog at 804 West Lincoln Way Street. The animal was placed in the Animal Holding Facility.

4:02pm: Duane Forkner reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the 800 Block of West Lincoln Way Street.

10:13pm: An officer assisted a motorist experiencing vehicle problems in the 1400 Block of North Elm Street.

******** Juvenile Arrest Warrants have been requested for a 17-year-old Jefferson male for, “Possession of Controlled Substance/Marijuana 1st offense -Serious and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Simple.” Test results came back positive on an investigation that began on 04/13/2019, in the 700 Block of South Walnut Street (Kelso Park).
