The West Central Valley Wildcats Softball team was on a stretch of painful losses, lopsided scores, and little confidence that anything may change.  Fortunately, Taryn Fell’s squad did pick up another win in exciting fashion earlier this week.

In a doubleheader in Stuart versus Woodward-Granger, the Wildcats split the two games with Woodward-Granger.  WCV won the opener, 11-10, but was mercy-ruled in the night cap 18-3.

8th grader, Melissa Hagen, picked up the win for West Central Valley, throwing 96 pitches, and striking out three batters.

Hagen, along with another 8th grader, Kinsey Alt, led the offensive attack for the Lady Wildcats.  Hagen and Alt combined for 5 RBIs,

WCV Softball will travel to Melcher-Dallas tomorrow, for a one-day, Saturday tournament, with action beginning at 9:00am.
