adm-7

The ADM Baseball team will be making its way to Glenwood today for a one-day, weekend tournament.  A number of teams will be joining ADM in Glenwood today.

On Wednesday, the ADM Tigers Baseball team and Head Coach, Jason Book, survived a scare from the winless, Perry Bluejays.  The Tigers clearly overlooked their competition on Wednesday, as they anticipated a big game on Thursday in Carlisle.

ADM struck early, leading 6-1 after two innings.  However, Perry wasn’t phased and responded with 8 runs in the top of the third inning.  The Tigers trailed 9-6 heading into the 4th frame.  After five innings, ADM had tied it up, but Perry tacked on another run in the top of the 6th to regain the lead, 10-9.

The Tigers picked up a tying run in the bottom of the 6th, and picked up the winning run in the bottom of the 7th, to steal the game, 11-10.  In the win, ADM committed seven errors, which greatly contributed to Perry’s offense.  ADM only allowed five hits to the Bluejays.

After today’s tournament in Glenwood, ADM travels to Carroll on Monday.
