The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Monday.
The meeting began with a department update from Public Works Director Bob Secoy. Next, the Council approved a transfer of $1,397 from the solid waste to the general fund for clean up of nuisance properties. The Council also approved a fence permit application from Ron Carper. Finally, no action was taken on the Presha Exline property at 806 North Street. The City is awaiting Exline’s response before they can relinquish fees and claims against it, for which the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors recently approved abating its property taxes contingent on the City’s decision.
