Mother Nature again disrupted the high school sports schedule Monday with the baseball and softball games between ACGC and Panorama getting rained out.
A small but potent rain storm passed through Guthrie Center a few innings into the varsity baseball and JV softball matchups. The shower ended quickly, but left behind enough water to cause ponding on the infields and make the fields unplayable.
For the Panther baseball team, it’s another in a long line of postponements that has left them with just three games played entering the third week of the season. The games will be made up on Friday.
Both schools will try to get games in tonight with Panorama hosting Ogden while ACGC travels to West Central Valley. Weather permitting we’ll have live coverage of ACGC baseball at West Central Valley tonight on True Country K107.9 with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
