The Greene County High School Boys Soccer team has qualified for the state tournament.

The Rams defeated AHSTW (Avoca) Saturday 5-2 in the Class 1A Substate 8 final to advance onto the state tournament. This is Greene County’s second year as a soccer program and the first year qualifying for state.

The Rams will enter the state tournament ranked 8th in Class 1A with a 14-5 record. Greene County is the fifth seed and will square off against the fourth seed Iowa City Regina on Thursday, May 30th at 12:05pm on James Cownie Soccer Complex Field #8.
