The 11th annual Dallas County Sheriff’s All Wheel Car Show is this weekend, and the public is invited to see a wide variety of automobiles and support a great cause.

Sheriff Chad Leonard says there will be all manner of vehicles surrounding the Dallas County Courthouse in Adel, with the show running this Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Concessions will be provided by the Adel Fire Department, with funds from the food sales benefiting the Adel Firefighters Association. Aside from that, Leonard says any money taken in during the event will support the Special Olympics. “We have athletes that come out throughout the show and look at all the cars and stuff, and some of them help us with the judging process. We always like having them do the awards ceremony at the end, and they’re always giving out the trophies and plaques. And the athletes love it, and I think the people that come out here really enjoy that part of the show as well. So everybody’s invited to attend, and we’d like to see everybody out here!”

There is a $20 fee for people to enter one vehicle into the show, and each subsequent entry is $10. There is no cost to visit the car show, though donations will be accepted. Additionally, the Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will once again count itself among the vehicles at the show. We will broadcast live, play music, and provide public address services.
