A reminder that both Paton-Churdan and Greene County School Districts are having their respective graduation ceremonies this weekend.

The Class of 2019 commencement ceremony for Paton-Churdan is today at 2pm in the Churdan gymnasium. The senior class valedictorian is Megan Carey and the salutatorian is Eric Thompson. The class colors are orange and silver and the class flower is a lily. The class motto is “Our lives are before us, the past is behind us, but our memories are forever with us.”

The commencement ceremony for the Class of 2019 for Greene County is tomorrow at 2pm in the middle school gym in Jefferson. There are three valedictorians with this year’s graduating senior class, which includes: Linsey Kitt, Emma Schroeder and Claire Teusch. Plus if you can’t make it to the event, it will be streamed live on the high school’s Facebook page.

Both commencement ceremonies are free and open to the public.
