The ADM Baseball was victim to losses in its first two games of the season, last week, when the Tigers fell on Wednesday to Des Moines Roosevelt, and Thursday to Gilbert.
Wednesday, pitching and defense was the issue, as ADM gave up 12 runs to the Roughriders, but managed to score 8 runs, themselves. On Thursday, the pitching was superb, but the hitting was absent. ADM dropped its second game of the season versus Gilbert 2-1.
Tonight, the ADM Baseball team will put the uniform back on, as the Tigers open Raccoon River Conference play tonight in Perry against the Bluejays.
Both Perry and ADM will come into tonight’s match-up looking for their first victory of the season. Like the Tigers, Perry comes into tonight with an 0-2 record as the Bluejays lost at Roland-Story 2-4, and then were shutout by Greene County 10-0.
Tonight’s ADM Baseball game in Perry will start at 7:30.
