The ADM Girls’ Golf season has come to a close after the Tigers were unable to advance past the Regional Meet last week in Carroll.
The Lady Tigers showed great improvement this season under the direction of first year, Head Coach, Dana Brown.
ADM had 10 girls out this season, compared to just three a year ago. Participation is up and performances steadily improved over the course of the season.
Brown, an ADM graduate, took over the program this spring with the goal of building up the Girls’ Golf team starting at a grass roots effort of just getting numbers up. Besides getting numbers up, ADM won several meets this season and even took home “bragging rights” in late April by winning a tournament with six other teams in competition.
After one golf season, it seems like ADM and Coach Brown should be pleased with the progress, so far. Numbers are up, scores are coming down, and the program is building with excitement.
