Infants to adults can discover a “Universe of Stories” this summer at the Stuart Public Library.
All ages are welcome to participate in the summer reading program, with registration beginning Wednesday, May 29th. Prizes will be given to kids and adults who complete their reading and activity challenges. Library Director Lisa Sherman says they are shooting for the moon with this summer’s program, “Last year we had our summer reading program was entirely in the month of June. This year because we want to keep kids reading throughout the summer we’ve expanded that so it starts June 3rd and it will go until August 13th.”
There will be a variety of interactive events in June and July for all ages. Additionally, the library will host storytimes for those four years and younger, and “Kidding Around” for those five years and older at 10 a.m. Tuesdays. Lego club will also return for those five and older from 3-4 p.m. Thursdays from June 13-August 15th. For details on the Stuart Public Library’s summer programming, call 515-523-2152.
