The Panorama boys soccer season came to an end Monday with a 7-1 loss to Des Moines Christian in the first round of substate play at North Polk High School.
Christian got out to a fast start putting a number of shots on goal en route to a 3-0 halftime lead. They wouldn’t let up pushing the lead to 7-0 with 15 minutes left in the match. Panorama was able to get one back with 13:22 to play but couldn’t get any closer.
The Panthers finish the season with a 5-8 record in their second year of soccer being a school sponsored sport. That’s a three win improvement over their inaugural season.
