The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.
The meeting will begin with a public hearing to discuss the fiscal year 2019 budget amendment, followed by an action item to approve it. In new business, the Council will consider a resolution establishing the position of Sanitation Supervisor to oversee the Sanitation Department on a day-to-day basis. Next, the Council will consider awarding the bid for the Public Safety Building parking lot project, followed by awarding the bid for the 16th Street overlay and Wiese Park crack sealing.
They will then have discussion and possible action regarding the McCreary Community Building assessment and needs report from ETHOS Design Group, as well as a resolution authorizing an agreement for using City funds for a promotional campaign. Finally, the Council will consider a request by the Chamber of Commerce to host the June 7th Friday Fest event in the downtown area. The meeting will conclude with the second reading of an ordinance amending the parking zones on Estella Street.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
