An Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center student was one of the two recipients of Raccoon Valley Radio’s business and broadcasting scholarships.

Senior Matt Hanner of Guthrie Center was awarded a $250 scholarship at ACGC’s Senior Night Wednesday evening. Hanner plans on attending Morningside College to study business administration. Hanner has an approximate 3.9 grade-point-average, and his extracurriculars include swimming, academic bowl, speech, cross country, choir, national honor society, and Hawkeye Boys’ State. The business and broadcasting scholarships are awarded to two students in the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area that wish to pursue a degree in business or communications.
