
The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council will hold several public hearings and will consider approving several items following them. The hearings include: loan agreements not to exceed $1,275,000, $375,000, $400,000 amd $350,000 in general obligation bonds; an urban renewal amendment; and a grant application to the United States Department of Agriculture for the building of a new animal shelter. Additionally, the Council will consider calling for a special election to fill a vacancy and setting the election date. Finally, the Council will hear a report from the fire chief regarding the new fire truck.
The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
