Stuart area families are reminded of an event being held by the Stuart Fire Department today.

The department is holding an open house from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Residents are welcome to check out the department’s equipment including a new ladder truck and visit with local firefighters. There will be refreshments, kids water fights, and more. The event is free and open to the public.
