The Jefferson Rotary Club recently gave another grant to a worthy cause.
The Greene County Community Center in Jefferson received a grant of $1,814 to replace their Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). The last AED was 18-years-old. The new one has a two-year charge pack, with two sets of adult pads and a Lifepak infant/child pads. Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner says thankfully they’ve never needed to use it, but all staff members at the community center are trained on it and it is kept in case of emergencies.
