It’s another day of competition for the West Central Valley Wildcats Track and Field teams of Stuart.

The Girls’ Track and Field meet will be held today at Martensdale-St. Marys High School, as the Wildcats will meet up today in competition starting with the field events at 5:00 from Martensdale.

The Boys’ Track and Field meet will also begin this afternoon at AC/GC High School in Guthrie Center.

West Central Valley’s competition on the track today includes, Colo-Nesco, Interstate 35, Madrid, Martensdale-St Marys, Panorama, Pleasantville, Twin Cedars, and Van Meter.

Eric Addy’s WCV Boys’ Track team has been very successful this season. The Boys’ have won two meets this spring, which is the first time that any WCV Boys’ Track and Field team has done that since 2003. The Wildcats also may have some individuals and a couple relay teams that may qualify for the State Track Meet in Des Moines.

Both meets today, in Martensdale and Guthrie Center, will start at 5:00pm this afternoon.
