Greene County played its first 18-hole girls’ golf tournament of the season on Friday in Story City hosted by Roland-Story. Coach Shawn Zanders reports the Rams shot 474, and were last among six teams. Gilbert won with 383 strokes, followed by R-S 385, South Hamilton (Jewell) 395, Bondurant-Farrar 470, North Polk (Alleman) 471, and the Rams.

Ellie Madson at 105 and Mariah Block at 106 led the Rams. Alexis Miller at 131 and Bailey Brown with 132 also had their scores count in the team total.

The Rams play nines holes vs. ADM today at 4 p.m. at the River Valley Course north of Adel.
