Fontanelle and Greenfield residents should not be alarmed to see an increased presence of law enforcement and safety agencies in the area today.

Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management is orchestrating its annual full-scale training exercise, which will involve various agencies in Adair County, area nursing homes, and Cardinal Glass Industries in Greenfield. Several volunteers will also be portraying disaster victims and bystanders in this preparation for severe weather. The exercise will begin at about 9 a.m. and last through the afternoon.
