The West Central Valley Girls’ Golf team will be back on the course this afternoon in a Girls’ Golf Invitational in Winterset.

Along with West Central Valley and Winterset, eight other schools will make the trip to Winterset for today’s event including, AC/GC, Des Moines Christian, Earlham, Madrid, Ogden, Panorama, Van Meter, and Woodward-Granger.

Head Coach, Traca Waddell has been making strides with her young team throughout the season. This year’s Wildcats Girls’ Golf team has four Freshman of the total seven girls on the team.

Darby Davis, Hunter Godwin, and Emma Johnson have been the three players to consistently lead the pack for West Central Valley.

Tonight’s meet in Winterset will tee off at 4:00pm this afternoon.
