If you are looking for some deals on reading material or entertainment for the spring and summer months, the Jefferson Library has you covered.
The Friends of the Jefferson Library’s annual Spring Used Book Sale is happening this week. It will take place Thursday through Saturday during the regular hours of the library. Items available for purchase include books in all genres, along with audio books, puzzles, CDs and DVDs. Library Director Jane Millard says all of the proceeds from the sale goes back to the library through the Friends organization.
“And the Friends accepts donations of these items all year-round. The Friends of the Library turn all of their profits over to the library so when you come to their book sales, you are supporting your local public library.”
Hardcover books are typically $1, softcovers are $0.50 and most children’s books are $0.25. The sale will be held in the basement of the library.
