Wednesday, April 17th
1:25am: A Traffic Stop in the 100 Block of West Clark Street resulted in Martin Tolsdorf of Grand Junction being cited for, “Open Container – Driver.” Tolsdorf was also arrested for outstanding Greene County Arrest Warrants and transported to the jail.
9:37am: An officer investigated an accident at Clark and Elm Streets. Jon Weber of Palmer was driving his 2006 Chevy Silverado and pulling a horse trailer. Weber turned off of Elm onto Clark Street and was turning from Clark into the Bomgaars’ entrance when the trailer fender struck a vehicle in the Bomgaars drive. The 2009 Honda Ridgeline was owned and operated by Curtiss Bird of Jefferson. The Weber trailer had a reported $500.00 in damages, while the Bird vehicle suffered a reported $1000.00 in damages. Weber was cited for, “Fail to Maintain Control.”
10:57am: The Colfax PD requested assistance from Jefferson officers in locating a Stolen Motor Vehicle that may be located in Jefferson. The vehicle was not found in Jefferson.
1:56pm: Judy Wanninger reported a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot in the 100 Block of North Elm Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who was sitting in his car watching his child ride her bike.
2:43pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 800 Block of West South Street.
2:20pm: Boone County SO requested an officer check a residence in the 300 Block of North Chestnut Street for a female wanted in their county. The subject no longer lives in Jefferson.
5:59pm: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Grauer Streets resulted in Michael Anderson of Arcadia being cited for, “Fail to Display Registration Plate.”
11:02pm: A Traffic Stop was performed in the 100 Block of North Maple Street resulting in Anthony Crook of Scranton being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”
