The ACGC golf programs continued their spring schedule Monday in a competition at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone. Junior Kena Baier had the highest overall finish for Charger individuals, placing 2nd in the girls triangular.

Baier shot a 62 on the nine hole course, which was second only to Madrid’s Sophia Harshbarg, who carded a 60. A pair of freshman joined Baier for the Charger girls. Morgan Lemke finished the round with a score of 85, while Alyssa Byars turned in a score of 90. West Central Valley also competed along with ACGC and Madrid.

The same three teams, in addition to Saydel, competed on the boys side. The top Charger was sophomore Nolan Wheatley, who carded a 52. Classmates Gunnar Larsen and Seth Danker finished right behind Wheatley with scores of 53 and 54 respectively. Senior Spencer Grove and sophomore Eli Kading both turned in 58s, while freshman Dawson Muller rounded out the Charger six with a score of 59.

The girls competed in a dual last night at Coon Rapids-Bayard and the boys will wrap up the week at the Woodward Golf Course on Thursday in a triangular against Woodward-Granger and Panorama.
