The Boys’ and Girls’ Golf teams of West Central Valley High School in Stuart were last in action on Monday at Cedar Pointe Golf Course in Boone in a triangular with AC/GC and Madrid. On Monday, the Boys’ were led by Sophomore, Grant Caltrider, while the Girls’ were led by West Central Valley’s, Darby Davis.

West Central Valley Girls’ Golf Coach, Traca Waddell, is in a rebuilding stage of the Girls’ Golf program, as she worked tirelessly over the offseason to increase her program’s participation. Last season, Waddell, only had three girls playing golf for WCV. This season that number has more than doubled to seven.

The West Central Valley Girls’ and Boys’ Golf teams will tee off again tomorrow at 4pm, as they both travel to Ogden, to face Earlham and Ogden. After tomorrow’s meet in Ogden, both the Boys’ team and Girls’ team will be back in action in an Invitational on Monday in Perry.
