The ACGC boys golf team hit the links this past Saturday at the Manning Manilla Golf Course in Manning for the IKM-Manning Invitational. The Chargers had a rough time on the course, as they finished fifth out of five teams.

Senior McKlain Jorgensen carded the low round for the gold and black, shooting a 103 on the 18 hole course. Sophomore Gunnar Larsen turned in the best front-nine score with a 49 while Jorgensen secured the best back-nine score with a 53. Larsen finished in 2nd on the team with 112. The other three participants for the Chargers included sophomore Nolan Wheatley (123), senior Spencer Grove (124) and sophomore Seth Danker (132).

The Chargers finished with a team score of 462. The host Wolves won the tournament with a score of 365. IKM-Manning’s Kyler Rasmussen was the medalist, shooting an 81.
