On Monday night, Raccoon Valley Radio spoke with West Central Valley Boys’ Golf Coach, Dave Doely, about his team’s young season and how he felt about their progress through just a few early meets.

Doely said that Sophomore, Grant Caltrider, played remarkably well at Jester Park against Des Moines Christian and Pleasantville, as Caltrider fired an impressive 39 in the opening meet for the Wildcats.

Track and Field star, Cole Arnburg, also plays Golf for Doely and played a respectable first round of the season with a score in the 40s.

The West Central Valley Boys’ Golf team is off for the next few days. The Wildcats will hit the links once again, next Monday, in Boone when they travel to face Madrid and AC/GC.
