The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.

The meeting will begin with an update from Jefferson City Administrator Mike Palmer. The Board will then hold a public hearing at 9am for a proposed hog confinement in Paton Township and are expected to make a recommendation to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources following the hearing. Additionally, the Board will consider for approval the County Treasurer’s investment and driver’s license report for March, the County Recorder’s report of fees for March, the County Auditor’s quarterly passport report, and a letter to the state legislature regarding the master matrix.

The Board will also consider approving the County Secondary Roads Department’s Iowa Department of Transportation Budget for the 2020 fiscal year, the five-year construction program and an amendment to the DOT 2019 fiscal year budget.

The meeting will begin at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
