After the Varsity Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field Invitational at Van Meter was postponed due to inclement weather back on March 29, it was unknown whether or not that event would be rescheduled.

It was rescheduled. And the ADM Boys’ Track team had a stellar night in Van Meter. The Tigers finished with 141.5 total team points, finishing in first place as a team, by nearly 20 points. ACGC was the closest opponent to ADM in the final standings, with a total of 123.5 total points.

The Boys’ saw four first place finishes in relay events, including the 4×200, 4×400, and 4×800 meter relay events, and the 400 meter shuttle hurdle.

The ADM Girls’ Track team finished fourth in total points on Thursday in Van Meter.

The Lady Tigers saw individual first place finishes for Anna Kenny in the 100 meter dash, and 400 meter hurdle, along with Hannah Welch in the 300 meter dash. The ADM Girls’ also won the 400 meter shuttle hurdle relay event.

The ADM Boys’ Track and Field team travels to Pella Christian tomorrow, while the Girls’ travel to Waukee on Thursday.
