With just one game under its belt for the season, the ADM Tigers Girls’ Soccer team is prepared for another successful season under the direction of Head Coach, Kelsey Gaffney.
For Gaffney’s club, the ADM Girls’ Soccer team annihilated their opponent this past Monday, when the Tigers hosted Carroll High School in Adel. ADM performed in mid-season form, scoring 10 goals in regulation, and managed to keep Carroll scoreless in Monday’s affair.
The competition ramps up this week, with three days of action on the schedule for ADM Girls’ Soccer. Fortunately for the Tigers, ADM will play its first 6 days of competition at home, before they make their first road trip on April 22 to Ballard High School.
The first game of the week for the ADM Girls’ Soccer program will be on Monday, when ADM takes on Boone. The Tigers will then face, rival, Dallas Center-Grimes on Thursday in Adel. Both games, Monday and Thursday, will begin at 7pm.
Saturday is the third of three days of action for the Lady Tigers this week, when ADM plays host to a weekend tournament with teams visiting from Bondurant-Farrar, Gilbert, Glenwood,Des Moines Hoover, Norwalk, Pella, and Council Bluffs St. Albert Catholic. The Tigers will play two games on Saturday. At 1pm, ADM will face off against Glenwood, and at 4pm against Pella.
