The Panorama track and field teams get to experience something today they haven’t had in a few years: a home track meet. The Panthers are set to host the Kip Janvrin Invite and Girls Coach Greg Thompson says they’re excited.

“We didn’t have a home meet at all last year due to weather,” Thompson said. “The year before that I don’t think we had any track meets either at home, so we’re pretty excited about the weather forecast and the opportunity to get to run here at home. It’s always good to give our kids a chance to show off at home in front of their own student body.”

The field for the meet includes ACGC, Glidden-Ralston, Iowa Christian Academy, Ogden, Woodbine, Woodward-Granger and the Madrid girls. Field events begin at 4:30 p.m. with running events starting at 4:45.
