Debra Ann Smith, of 22438 Maple Ridge, Adel stopped her vehicle facing north in the 34000 block of hwy 169 while waiting to turn west on Maple Ridge Dr. when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Shelley Marie Boorn of 305 Elm St., DeSoto, who failed to stop, causing damage to both vehicles. Smith refused medical treatment and Boorn complained of neck pain and was transported to the hospital by DCEMS. Boorn was cited for failure to stop in an assured distance. Estimated damage to Smith’s vehicle is $5000.00 and Boorn’s is $7000.00.

Bradley Joseph Fuller of 920 S. 11th St., Adel was traveling south in the 32000 block of Hyw 169 when a deer entered the roadway, striking his vehicle. No injuries were reported. Estimated damage to Fuller’s vehicle is $3000.00.

Melvagene Burich of 2193 Owl Ave, Woodward was traveling southeast in the 18000 block of Hwy 141 Diagonal when a deer entered the roadway striking her vehicle. The driver complained of stomach pain from the seatbelt, but refused treatment. Estimated damage to Burich’s vehicle is $6500.00.

Spencer Michael Benton of 105 Arlington Ave., Spencer was traveling east in the 28000 block of 360th St. when his vehicle struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries reported and the estimated damage to Benton’s vehicle is $6000.00.

Timothy Brooks McFarland of 3404 156th St., Urbandale was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of compulsory education violation 1st offense.
