The Jefferson Police Department recently released the latest special Traffic Enforcement Program (sTEP) Wave results.
During the St. Patrick’s Day holiday from March 14th through the 17th, police officers issued 13 citations and 118 warnings. Citations were issued for speeding, no proof of insurance, registration violations, seat belt violation, stop sign/stop light violation, and vehicle equipment violation. The most warnings that were issued were 35 for vehicle equipment-related. To see the full report, click the link below.
