Monday, March 4th
4:12am: A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint on 220th Street near X Avenue.
11:30am: Kory Schubert 49 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a Cass County arrest warrant for a probation violation.
1:50pm: Two deputies went to a residence in the 300 block of South 7th Street, Grand Junction and arrested Jeremy Andrews 30 of Grand Junction and Fashion Foster 44 of Grand Junction on arrest warrants.
2:20pm: Jeremy Andrews 30 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
2:40pm: Fashion Foster 44 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a Dallas County arrest warrant for theft 3rd degree. Fashion was transported to Dallas County.
3:09pm: A deputy assisted a motorist on E Avenue near 270th Street.
3:40pm: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 200 block of Main Street, Rippey.
4:04pm: A deputy investigated an animal bite in the 1500 block of 235th Street.
6:28pm: A deputy attempted to locate a vehicle that was leaving Jefferson with a possible intoxicated driver. The Jefferson Police Department located the vehicle and arrested Kandice Agar 34 of Jefferson for operating while intoxicated 1st offense.
7:43pm: A deputy investigated a civil matter on Anyer Street, Dana.
8:37pm: Kandice Agar 34 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense.
11:05pm: Michael Olson 57 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense and driving while license revoked.
Tuesday, March 5th
6:24am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 220th Street near Grand Junction.
7:47am: A deputy investigated a backing accident in the 400 block of State Street, Scranton. Robert Bettey 49 of Scranton was backing out of his driveway in his 2016 Chevy Silverado and struck Melissa Means 48 of Bagley in her 2017 Ford Explorer. Both vehicles had an estimated 1,500 dollars damage each. There were no citations issued and nobody was injured.
9:19am: A deputy investigated an assault in the 200 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.
11:07am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint on 210th Street near N Avenue.
12:00pm: A deputy investigated a power line down on J Avenue near 340th Street.
12:50pm: A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 600 block of Hager Street, Grand Junction.
1:29pm: Douglas Shutt 58 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a probation violation and an arrest warrant for failure to appear.
2:47pm: A deputy investigated a single vehicle accident on N Avenue near 185th Street. Dillon Brandt 30 of Atlantic hit a patch of ice on the roadway and lost control. Dillon went into the west ditch with his 2003 GMC Yukon. There was less than 1,000 dollars damage to the vehicle.
3:58pm: The Sheriff and a deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover accident on 220th Street near M Avenue. The Jefferson Police Department assisted. Arthur Irlbeck 75 of Dedham lost control on his 1999 Ford F250 on a patch of ice. The vehicle was a total loss and there were no injuries.
5:42pm: The Sheriff, a deputy, and the Iowa State Patrol assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a two-vehicle accident on 220th Street near Grimmell Road.
6:39pm: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 2200 block of M Avenue.
8:41pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of L Avenue.
11:53pm: A deputy assisted the Grand Junction Fire Department with a medical call in the 600 block of 14th Street, Grand Junction.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
