The Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce is rolling out a new four-point strategic plan in 2019, and the first aspect of it was unveiled at their recent banquet. The Chamber revealed their new logo during the Celebrate Adel Annual Dinner, kick starting their marketing theme, “Advantage Adel.”
The new logo design was met with universal praise by the attendees at the banquet. Chamber Director Deb Bengtson says it may seem like a small change, but feels it’s important because it’s essentially the face of the organization. The imagery on the logo includes: the Dallas County Courthouse, an important historical landmark in Adel; houses to show that the City is a place to call home; and the trail and parks systems, which are bringing more visitors to the community.
The logo is part of the Chamber’s plan to leverage marketing, which is the first part of their new overall strategy. The other three parts of the plan include: igniting membership by connecting them through events like ribbon cuttings and the monthly Coffee and Conversation/Drinks and Discussion series; enhancing the trails, which is the focus of the upcoming “Kinnick to Raccoon” improvement project; and thriving through economic development.
