The Raccoon River Watershed Association will be holding their annual conference this weekend, and the site for this year is Hotel Pattee in Perry.

The two-day event will begin tomorrow evening with a social hour starting at 5 p.m. and dinner provided by Harvey’s at 6. The guest speaker will be Art Cullen, the 2017 Pulitzer Prize Winner from Storm Lake. Cost to attend the dinner is $50 per person, and a cash bar will be available. RSVP’s are required and can be made online.

The conference will continue Saturday morning, with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. There will be a welcome ceremony at 9, followed by a day full of presentations, panel discussions, and exhibits. The event will wrap up with lunch at 12:15 p.m., with people able to order off the Harvey’s menu. Attendees will have to pay for their lunch order, but the rest of the day on Saturday is free and open to the public.
