This week, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced her yearly appointments to boards and commissions, and two Dallas County residents were chosen to serve.
First, Marcus Branstad of Adel was one of two individuals appointed to the Natural Resource Commission. Branstad’s appointment is subject to the confirmation of the Iowa Senate. The other new board member from Dallas County is Dawn Carlson of Dallas Center, who was chosen to sit on the Iowa Comprehensive Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Fund Board. Carlson will not have to be confirmed.
The pair were two of 58 individuals from around the state appointed by Reynolds on Monday to 28 different boards and commissions.
