A boil advisory has been lifted in the City of Jefferson.
Jefferson Water Superintendent Tom Schilling says the advisory is no longer in place for these affected areas: 301 East Perry Street to North Wilson Avenue; North Wilson Avenue to Central Street; North Cedar to East Reed Street; 500 block of East State Street; 400 and 500 block of East Washington Street; East Adams from North Cedar to the deadend; and the 400 and 500 blocks of East Reed Street. The water samples have come back clean of contaminants. The advisory was issued Friday after crews repaired two water mains that broke at the intersection of Adams and Cedar streets and in the 1100 block of North Wilson Avenue.
