Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity will be hosting public meetings for those interested in improving their living conditions in Guthrie County.

Since January 2015, Habitat for Humanity has helped 16 families with their home repair projects, and plan to continue the program this year. Volunteers are needed to do construction work; recruit, select, and support partner families; provide food for workers and coordinate volunteers; as well as leaders to fill the county and affiliate board of directors. The meetings will be at 5:30 p.m. February 25th at the First Christian Church in Guthrie Center, at 7:30 p.m. that same day at Faith Bible Church in Panora, and at 6 p.m. February 26th at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Stuart. Those unable to attend any of the meetings can contact Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity Associate Director Jeff Lamoureux at 515-386-3093 or ad@heartofiowahabitat.org or visit their website at heartofiowahabitat.org.
