The Greene County Cattlemen’s Association will be hosting their annual banquet and trophy auction this weekend.

It will be held at Clover Hall on the Greene County Fairgrounds this Saturday. A social time begins at 6pm, followed by a ribeye steak dinner at 6:30. The trophy auction will then follow the meal. Last year, the annual fundraiser brought in over $20,000 on 54 different items. There is also a traveling trophy that is awarded to the top organization or individual that bids the most money, which went to Hamilton Redi-Mix last year.

Tickets are $20 per person. All proceeds from the event will go towards local scholarships to graduating seniors and other local projects and beef promotions.
