Today is Presidents Day, so here’s a reminder of the closures for several entities around Dallas County.

In Perry, all City offices, the water works office, the McCreary Community Building, and the Perry Public Library are closed in observance of the holiday. The City also reminds residents that the garbage routes scheduled for today will be picked up tomorrow, and tomorrow’s will be picked up on Wednesday. In Adel, all City offices and the public library are closed for Presidents Day, although the garbage and recycling schedule this week will not be affected.

Finally, all Dallas County offices are closed today, including the courthouse, Department of Motor Vehicles, and driver’s license station. Additionally, all local post offices and banking institutions are closed, unless otherwise specified.
