The Perry School Board will convene Monday evening in regular session.
The meeting will begin with a review of the annual school audit report, followed by an action item to accept the audit as presented. Superintendent Clark Wicks will also discuss the recently approved bond referendum and the plans for moving forward with the new industrial technology facility and wrestling/multipurpose room. In general business, the Board will consider approval of the 2019-20 school calendar, with a start date of August 23rd and end date of May 28th. Next, they will approve the instructional and extracurricular activity fees, as well as revisions to Board policies.
Other items on the agenda include: approval of a financial literacy course to be completed by all graduates, starting with the Class of 2022; student laptop purchases for grades 2, 4, and 7; and early graduation requests. Finally, the Board will consider a professional services agreement between the District and UNESCO to serve as the construction managers for the industrial tech/wrestling room project. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the high school’s Brady Library.
