Sayde Steel Hein

A Denison man faces a felony drug charge following an incident in the Perry area.

According to the Perry Police Department, officers arrested 19-year-old Sayde Steel Hein after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle at Perkins Park last Saturday evening. Following an investigation of the vehicle, officers discovered a large amount of methamphetamine. Hein was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a class B felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was booked into the Dallas County Jail, where he is currently being held on $25,000 bond.

Hein had an initial appearance in court on Sunday morning, and will have a preliminary hearing on February 13th at 11 a.m. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
