The Friends of the Adel Public Library will be hosting their third annual “For the Love of Soup” fundraiser tomorrow.

In exchange for a free-will donation, attendees can taste all the soup they’d care to try. Additionally, you can cast a vote for your favorite soup by donating some pocket change. The soup that receives the most money will be declared the winner, and the cook responsible for it will get a travelling trophy. Desserts will also be available, provided by the Friends group. The event will run from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. tomorrow in the library’s community room. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Friends of the Adel Library, which will be used to pay for programming and other purchases.
