The second night of back-to-back Raccoon River Conference games saw the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity girls basketball team struggle offensively. ADM converted just 29 percent of their 66 shot attempts, including three of 26 from the three-point line, in a 58-46 road setback against the Carlisle Wildcats. The Tigers also missed nine of their 14 free throw attempts in the loss. ADM held a 41-40 lead over Carlisle entering the fourth quarter before the Wildcats outscored the Tigers, 18-5, over the final eight minutes. The loss drops ADM girls basketball team’s overall record to 13-8. Both ADM Tiger basketball teams resume their season tomorrow evening in a road Raccoon River Conference contest against the Boone Toreadors.
