A Pleasant Hill man has been given several citations after striking an electric pole and multiple street signs in Bagley Saturday.

According to the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Trevor Arthur Brommel was driving a Chevrolet Malibu on Main Street around 3:50 p.m. when he tried to turn west onto 3rd Street, his vehicle went off the road, and onto the right side, and then off the road onto the left side. Brommel’s car hit a wooden electric pole, knocking it over. He then went off the road again on the right knocking over a stop sign and a street sign. A witness notified a sheriff’s deputy that Brommel fled the scene, and the car was later found on 3rd Avenue. Brommel later admitted to hitting the pole and stop sign. There were no injuries in the incident, and Brommel was charged with failure to maintain control, failure to provide proof of financial liability, and striking fixtures upon a highway.
