Tonight marks the last regular season home game of the season for the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers varsity basketball teams. ADM welcomes the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays to Adel’s North Gym to complete their two-game Raccoon River Conference season series. Home court advantage hasn’t been the same for either Tiger basketball team since the start of the new year. The ADM girls basketball team has won six of their eight home games this winter but have split their four home dates in 2019. The Tigers boys basketball team has won four of their eight home games this winter, winning just one game in Adel in 2019.
The Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays girls basketball team looks to even their Raccoon River Conference record at 5-5 with a win tonight in Adel. The Bluejays handed ADM their first league loss of the season on January 4, 68-56. The Bluejays boys basketball team has suffered back to back conference losses against Carroll (61-35) and at Ballard (58-43), posting a 3-6 conference mark. Bondurant-Farrar had the last shot against ADM on January 4 as Jalen Kruse’s floater at the buzzer hit off the back rim in a 54-53 setback.
