8:34am: Jill McPherson reported her vehicle had stalled near Madison and Wilson. The officer assisted in pushing the vehicle to the curb. The vehicle was removed by a local mechanic’s shop a short time later.

10:35am: Jason Sheldahl requested officers at 501 ½ East Lincoln Way Street for an unwanted female refusing to leave the property. The female left after speaking to the officer.

3:47pm: A caller requested officers to check on a possible Domestic Situation occurring at 500 East Clark Street. Officers and a deputy made contact with a couple at the residence, who advised of a verbal argument occurring.

3:53pm: An officer investigated a Backing Accident in the 200 Block of South Vine Street. A 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, owned and operated by Karen Shannon of Jefferson, was backing from a parking spot at the Middle School. Traffic had stopped in the roadway, due to congestion in the area. Shannon backed into a vehicle stopped behind her vehicle in the roadway. The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox was owned and operated by David Walker of Jefferson. The Shannon vehicle had a reported $1000.00 in damages, while the Walker vehicle suffered a$2000.00 in damages.

7:22pm: Everette Beebe reported an Open Door on a motorhome at 1200 North Elm Street. The officer secured the vehicle.

7:55pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 1603 North Elm Street and found an overhead door open. A key holder was contacted and the building was secured.

9:55pm:, Matt Durbin advised his German Shepherd had gotten loose from him at 307 East Vest Street. Durbin caught the animal before the officer became involved.

10:38pm: Pam Haakma, of Perry, requested an officer to go to 408 Hwy. 30 East and check on her rented storage unit. She had been advised the unit had been broken into. The officer found the unit to be secure and locked.
