The high school sports schedule today is pretty full and included is the Panorama (Panora) cross-country meet involving several teams from the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area. The event is being held at the Par Three Golf Course west of Panora with middle school races at 4:30 p.m. and high school races to follow. Greene County is among the schools in the field.

The Greene County volleyball team is at home with PCM (Monroe) in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play in the middle school gym in Jefferson. Ninth grade and JV matches begin at 5 p.m .with the varsity to follow. The Rams are 4-4 overall, 1-1 in league play, and 11-10 in games following a loss in four games at Story City vs. Roland-Story on Tuesday.

Paton-Churdan has a Rolling Valley Conference volleyball match in Churdan at 6 p.m. with Glidden-Ralston. The Rockets are 3-6 overall, 1-2 in the conference, and 12-16 in games.
