Due to extremely cold temperatures on Wednesday, the United States Postal Service has announced that it is suspending delivery operations.

Mail delivery will be suspended in Iowa, along with Minnesota, western Wisconsin and western Illinois. The suspension also includes mail pickup from businesses and collection boxes, as well as residential or commercial package pickup services. However, local post office operations will continue, but might be limited depending on the location.
